Interesting contribution, I came across it rather late, but as the saying goes, bettr late than never.
I'm an Italian citizen and I've been living in Querétaro since December 2007 (married to the most beautiful Mexican woman one has ever seen); being the father of two children, I am of course extremely worried. I never realised that the flu had broken out in La Gloria! In fact, at the very beginning of the saga, a couple of German friends (one is a cardiologist, the other is a surgeon) suggested that the origin of the flu may in fact have been in the US! In any case, they agreed about the fact that it is extremely difficult to determine exactly where it had originated.
What worries me right now is the fact that it is spreading worldwide (as predicted, 18 deaths in Italy, Germany in panic), whereas in Mexico nobody talks about it any longer. Does this mean that we are out of danger or is it simply silence?
